At Fugett Middle School, our Schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework is grounded in the values of iCARE. In partnership with families, we hold ourselves and our students accountable for demonstrating integrity, caring, acceptance, respect, and equity each day through these shared values. Together, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and connected learning community where all students can thrive. At FMS, iCARE!

Owning up to mistakes and working to fix them.

Greeting classmates and teachers kindly

Learning and using classmates’ names, especially new students.

Using polite words like “please,” “thank you,” and “excuse me.”

Sharing classroom resources so everyone has what they need.

Being truthful with teachers and peers (even if it’s hard).

Helping a peer find their way to class or their locker.

Including others in groups, games, or conversations at lunch.

Waiting your turn to talk and listening when others are speaking.

Encouraging others to participate in group work.

Doing your own work and putting in your best effort.

 Offering supplies to a classmate who forgot theirs. Listening respectfully to different ideas in discussions.

Taking care of school spaces by cleaning up after yourself.

Respecting that some classmates may need different support to succeed.
Following classroom rules even when adults aren’t nearby. Checking in on someone who looks nervous, upset, or left out. Sitting with or talking to someone who doesn’t have a group. Following hallway expectations (walking calmly, keeping hands to self). Standing up if you see someone being left out or treated unfairly.

Be honest, kind, and respectful.
